Wine Region: Alentejo
Grape Varieties: 40% Touriga Nacional, 40% Alicante Bouschet and 20% Syrah
Vinification: Manual harvest for plastic box during the 2nd and 3rd week of September. Fermentation in French oak vats at a temperature of 25ºC for 12 days, with subsequent cuvaison.
Ageing: In new 225 liter French and American oak barrels for 18 months. Bottled without filtration or stabilization so as not to affect the wine's potential for evolution, being subject to a slight natural deposit during bottle aging.
Tasting Note: Complex aroma, with ripe fruit in perfect harmony with the toasted notes of the wood. Austere, with a powerful body, full of vivacity and enhanced by good acidity.
