Wine Region: Alentejo
Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon
Vinification: Harvest in the 3rd and 4th week of September. Fermentation in small capacity stainless steel vats at temperature of 24ºC, after total destemming.
Ageing: In 225 liter French and American oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting Note: Vivid ruby colour, well-defined aromas of forest berries and a touch of dark chocolate. Very attractive and velvety in the mouth with mature and very balanced tannins that mark the tasting and a medium persistence finish.
Gastronomic Suggestions: It goes well with game dishes and other well-seasoned meats, as well as soft cheeses.
