Grape Varieties: Touriga-Nacional (70%) and Touriga-Franca (30%)
Vinification: Vinification takes place from the selection of grapes created at Quinta das Braceiras. All grapes are hand-picked, harvested at the ideal time of maturation. The grapes collected from excellent terroirs gave rise to the mixture of these 2 varieties, which, after an 18-month aging in new French oak barrels, were subjected to a light filtration before bottling.
Sensory analysis:
Color: intense grenade
Aroma: Somewhat exotic aromatic notes, licorice, sweet spices, macerated cherry fruit and cherry.
Flavor: Open and wide texture in the mouth, complex with vibrant tannins and a lot of tasting impact, although elegance dominates.
Service Temperature: 16ºC - 18ºC
Ageing Potential: 8 to 10 Years
Recommended dishes: Ideal for starters such as cured pata negra ham and soft cheese, red meat dishes, game meats and desserts.
